Environmental Sustainability

Adimmune Corporation, while pursuing corporate growth, deeply recognizes the precious and irreplaceable nature of the Earth’s environment. We understand that businesses play a critical role in safeguarding resources and ecological systems, bearing inherent responsibilities and obligations. In 2025, we established our Environmental and Energy Management Philosophy and Policy, integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to formulate guiding strategies. These efforts ensure that our operations advance toward environmentally friendly and low-carbon, energy-efficient sustainable development, pledging a brighter and happier future for the planet and future generations.

Energy Management

  1. Adimmune Corporation adopts a systematic risk-control approach to implement environmental management strategies, proactively establishing an enterprise-wide environmental risk management framework. Through organizational development and policy issuance, we have progressively introduced the ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (valid from February 22, 2023, to February 21, 2026). Plans are underway to implement the ISO 50001 Energy Management System. Coupled with employee education, management targets, and execution, we are fostering a corporate culture of continuous improvement based on the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle. Our goal is to achieve comprehensive and effective control of environmental and energy risks, ensuring steady progress toward sustainable operations.
  2. We have introduced energy-saving systems, optimized lighting control zones, replaced fixtures with energy-efficient alternatives, installed variable frequency equipment, phased out high-energy-consumption devices, refined air conditioning settings, conducted regular reviews of electricity usage, and promoted energy-saving habits such as turning off unused devices.
  3. We advocate paperless operations and double-sided printing, enforce source management and requisition systems, and use paper certified with sustainable forestry labels.

Air Pollution and Fuel Management

  1. We have upgraded factory exhaust systems and facilities to reduce operational power consumption.
  2. Beyond complying with annual regulatory inspections and reporting requirements and installing Venturi scrubbers, we have voluntarily added activated carbon adsorption towers—exceeding legal standards—to minimize environmental impact to the fullest extent possible.
  3. Regular self-initiated testing ensures consistently high exhaust quality standards.
  4. Central air conditioning and control systems, along with external air circulation systems, are tailored to the specific needs of different building spaces. Extensive greenery surrounds our facilities, enhancing air quality, which is regularly monitored with instruments.
  5. Offices, meeting rooms, and employee cafeterias utilize healthy, eco-friendly building materials such as water-based paints and lightweight partition walls. These materials feature low emissions, minimal pollution, and reduced odors, mitigating health risks.

Waste Management

To effectively manage industrial and hazardous waste, Adimmune Corporation has established the “Waste Management Operational Standards” as an internal guideline. We implement two parallel approaches to achieve effective waste management and reduce environmental impact: internal management practices and oversight of waste disposal vendors.

Product Packaging

We employ biodegradable, recyclable, recycled paper, reusable, plant-fiber-based, lightweight, and water-soluble packaging solutions.

Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Since 2022, we have voluntarily tracked Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions annually. By 2023, we expanded this to include Scope 3 emissions, achieving verification from a third-party international certification body and obtaining ISO 14064-1 certification.

Water Resource Management

Adimmune Corporation actively implements water recycling systems at production sites, reusing process water and steam condensate from facilities. This reduces wastewater treatment costs and water usage while enhancing production efficiency. For secondary domestic water needs, we are planning to establish a greywater recycling system to decrease reliance on tap water. Additionally, we conduct water conservation awareness campaigns in offices and production sites, fostering employee mindfulness and reducing daily water consumption.

Through robust wastewater treatment and discharge management, we strive to minimize the potential negative impacts of wastewater. Our practices comply with national regulations, including the Water Pollution Control Act, its Enforcement Rules, Effluent Standards, and the Water Pollution Control Measures and Testing Declaration Management Regulations. Our wastewater treatment plant has a design capacity of 529 cubic meters per day, a maximum daily output of 476 cubic meters, and an average production of approximately 434 cubic meters. Routine wastewater quality tests align with legal standards, ensuring post-treatment water quality meets the following criteria:
